The ghost in the machine has shipped updates. Roll them out.
- Go 1.26 — Green Tea GC on by default: −10–40% GC overhead, −30% baseline cgo cost. For high-load backends, that is real money.
- Rust 1.96 — fixes for two CVEs affecting private registries; the WASM linker got stricter (potentially breaking).
- Angular v22 — Signal Forms are stable; OnPush and Incremental Hydration are the defaults. The signal-first era is official.
- Bun 1.3 — a full-stack runtime: built-in SQL (PG/MySQL/SQLite) and Redis, zero-config frontend. Batteries very much included.
- Node.js — June security releases (severity HIGH) for the 26/24/22 lines. Patch your prod.
